An random look at what we continue to call "the news"

• The New York Times has surprisingly discovered Ole Joe is too old and increasingly infirm to meet the requirements of occupying the Oval Office. “At 79, Biden Is Testing the Boundaries of Age and the Presidency,” the NYT announced and went on to remind us how grueling is the job of a White House helmsman. Not that we didn’t guess it can be otherwise.

• I tremble at the mere thought of air travel and what it can do to people decades younger than Old Joe. In a way, I feel sorry for the man even if he’s the chosen instrument of the dark “woke” heart of the Democratic party that has sworn to disarticulate the United States in the name of “diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

• But when this mouthpiece of blatant left “wokism” feels the need to state the obvious, things must be getting truly beyond control. Brace and keep your powder dry.

• If you don’t know who W. Kamau Bell is, this is the time to find out. Kamau is a black “sociopolitical comedian” who’s predictably a fiery Woke Warrior and defender of all the downtrodden. He’s active online spewing the usual rubbish about “critical race theory” and how “oppressed minorities” are the Chosen People on this earth.

• It’s not a surprise, therefore, that Kamau regularly appears on the Fake News Network, aka CNN, to attack whiteness plus anything and anyone that goes against his black liberation calls to arms. And, on July 8, Kamau took the predictable next step: he publicly joined the “pro-choice” maenad legions going berserk over Roe v. Wade.

• Sporting a black T-shirt with “I Will Aid and Abet Abortion” printed in red on its chest, Kamau issued his clarion call to battle to the legions of the Righteous via the Fake News Network that continues to sink in ratings.

• Kamaus of this world unite!

• I find it unbelievable that America’s very foundations are shaking because of the cockfight over the “right to choose.” But, then, the US is a multifaceted country of a million surprises: she’s the country that singlehandedly led Western democracies to victory against Nazi Germany and imperial Japan and, some fifty years later, allowed the gradual erosion of her own economy and manufacturing base to primarily benefit communist- “capitalist” China, which continues to infiltrate the Homeland.

• The assassination of former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe took the world by surprise since Japan is hardly the place you’d expect to be the scene of such atrocities. It is obvious the Japanese security services are also (wrongly) resting on this reputation of public discipline, and absence of extreme events, when planning the protection of those public figures who need it.

• Abe was allowed to campaign in the streets without any systematic crowd control. The shooter, Tetsuya Yamagami, approached from behind and fired unobstructed only to be taken down after his target lay dying. There’s no indication that he was in any way flagged, and/or monitored, as a possible threat. Japanese security has a lot of work to do and do it now.

• Sri Lanka, the Ceylon of British empire yesteryear, is now the global poster child of how a national economy can go off the rails with terrifying speed and destroy the lives of millions.

• Official corruption, ineffective governance, a struggling economy, overpopulation, poor education, and so much else combined to light the fuse of collapse. Images of angry protesters storming and occupying the fortified residences of the country’s top leaders should serve as a warning call to other Third World camouflaged autocrats practicing official corruption as a way of life—but I doubt it will.

• I am delighted at the prospect of Kamala “Giggling Queen” Harris running for president in 2024—given that Ole Joe is already disabled both physically and politically.

• It’s quite obvious that the [proud] “daughter of a woman and the granddaughter of a woman” is having Hillary dreams of presidential greatness—without, of course, being capable to understand why Hillary cannot be the inspiration of political dreams of any kind, unless one is willing to accept a Mafia-like criminal frame of mind as the foundation of political “ethics.” Kamala for president! Bring it on… and watch how the Dems lose even if the opponent is a high school principal without any political experience.

• Ukraine is now a forever war with no end in sight.

• Tsar Putin has warned the “free world” Russia has many other “options” in store for Zelenskyy et.al. and warned against any NATO forces deploying along the borders of the soon-to-be-full-NATO-members Sweden and Finland.

• It is increasingly obvious the US, NATO, and the Europeans have all underestimated Putin’s staying power, both militarily and politically. On the other hand, Russian troops suffer from low morale and face a massive Western materiel infusion into Ukraine to bolster T-shirted PM Zelenskyy, who’s now the West’s latest poster child.

• But, our “free world” leaders need to remember Russia possesses a massive nuclear arsenal that may come into play if the Tsar concludes his Ukrainian escapade is turning negative.

• In the words of Paul Rogers, “Putin has everything to lose in Ukraine and NATO leaders should remember that.”
