Dems realize Netanyahu is the wrong man
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says Israel needs a new government, battlefield experts suggest Israel bound to lose
These are tough days for Bibi and his totalitarian hard-core decimate-all Zionist cabinet: the US is finally signaling the continuation of the ongoing war of annihilation of the Palestinians cannot be won — and this warning comes from no other than Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat.
Netanyahu is “allowing his political survival to take precedence over the best interests of Israel,” the New York Democrat said in a speech on the Senate floor Thursday. Schumer, the highest ranking Jewish elected official in the U.S. government, said Israel “cannot hope to succeed as a pariah opposed by the rest of the world.”
Even dedicated pro-Israel members of Congress are becoming uncomfortable over Bibi’s genocidal offensive upon Palestinian civilians who are dying by the thousands under indiscriminate and genocidal IDF military operations that have already starved, tortured, and killed and/or maimed tens of thousands of Palestinian noncombatants including schoolchildren and even babies in the cradle.
Schumer said the U.S. wasn’t trying to dictate who should lead Israel. But, he said: “At this critical juncture, I believe a new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel, at a time when so many Israelis have lost their confidence in the vision and direction of their government.
Predictably, Schumer’s rather blunt message has shaken Netanyahu’s cabinet, their anxiety further increasing by Schumer’s added suggestion that “he didn’t believe Netanyahu was fit to lead his country into a postwar future.”
“Nobody expects Prime Minister Netanyahu to do the things that must be done to break the cycle of violence, preserve Israel’s credibility on the world stage, and work towards a two-state solution,” [Schumer] said, calling for negotiations on a “demilitarized Palestinian state living side-by-side with Israel.”
And to top it all up, US intelligence has publicly suggested, in an unclassified document, that Netanyahu has practically lost his fight with Hamas et.al.:
A new U.S. global intelligence assessment says that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s hold on office “may be in jeopardy” and suggests Israel will fail to achieve its aim in the Gaza war of completely eliminating Hamas.
Schumer’s warning comes at a time when two battlefield experts of established authority similarly suggest Israel will suffer a major defeat in facing the combined fury of Hezbollah and (nuclear-armed) Iran.
Netanyahu et.al. have over-extended themselves — and have massacred more than they can chew — and will most likely face their time of disastrous reckoning soon.
