Edward Yudenich (or Ioudenitch) was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and since a very early age displayed a genius for classical music. A brief bio published in his hometown describes him as a born symphony orchestra conductor but gives no exact date of birth. Apparently though, and beginning at the age of seven, Edward would masterfully conduct a full symphony orchestra with remarkable aplomb.
Paradoxically, there is little biographical information about him online, but rumor has it he is now, at the age of 18 (?), a full-time symphony conductor in St. Petersburgh. His older brother and sister are apparently brilliant classical musicians as well but, again, there’s little detail about them either in the English-speaking online world.
The three clips below show Edward’s remarkable talent as well as his wonderful presence on the podium. Unfortunately my Russian is non-existent and I can’t offer any more information about him past these brilliant orchestral examples!
Bravo, Edward!
Well my ol m8, once again you have opened my eyes, to the musical beauty of a young lad conducting, such wonderful orchestra's in a country that has now changed for I hope the better. For the last time I was there, I forget the year, I was an armed driver or an armed driver's support, we worked as a 5 man group to each vehicle attempting to deliver supplies to the supported group, and every other group and there was a few, would try and stop us either delivering to the supported group, or they acted purely as bandits, just to get the supplies, which consisted mainly of food and clothing, but occasionally we carried arms and ammunition. There were many east European country's spread over several years, where the government of one country supported a group from one of these poor war torn country's. We as a support group for hire, were very good at our job. ( Almost all bar expenses, from what was earned during these involvements went to charities in our country ) One thing that springs to mind was the order that stood for every intrusive delivery, " never get involved with anything so called political " But when you see one group massacring purely innocent civilians, we at times did get involved, we saved many lives over the years and luckily our group only suffered minor casualties. Many of us still alive these days, get letters from families that are alive today because we could not follow orders, It's hard sometimes just being a loving human. The city's and towns we visited were what I can only describe as war torn, and now to see a young lad conducting orchestra's in somewhat newly built buildings gives me hope, that maybe one day humankind will live without wars, but somehow I have my doubts. I am sorry me ol m8, I have got somewhat carried away, but I always feel I must write what I feel at the time.
This was just breath-taking. Thank you for introducing me to this fine young talent. I have forwarded it on to four friends.
